A second video will come out tonight. 4200 Developers were at the 2006 WWDC Keynote speech, in 210 days all Macs have changed over to MacIntel ! - MacPro - The top of the line ones will have two double-core processors at 3 GHz, with motherboard connections at 25 GB/sec. They'll cost around 2500€ and are now available at the Apple Store and later (in Europe) at Telindus Computer Home. - XServe : over a million different configurations are possible, see the Apple site for more information. - Leopard : is expected to issue in spring of 2007 (shortly after the concurrent system release by that company in Redmond). Integration of "TimeMachine", a versioning program, will enable regular backups of the most critical files. Multiple desktops a la Parallels will be supported, as our Linux friends already enjoy. Animations will be simpler to generate and many new effects will be available to developers. Reading aloud of text will be more fluent (Speech and VoiceOver). - Dashcode : Based on the Automator concept, Dashcode will enable custom widget creation in only a few clicks. - Mail will be updated to work better with iCal and will finally have the integration features of Entourage. - iChat : the update under Leopard will support video, animated avatars, and multiple logins (several accounts for the same user) - XCode 3 : an update which goes with the developer system. Quite a few of the new functionalities are still under wraps, so that Redmond won't photocopy them too quickly.
