Req. ID: 2366334 Location: Luxembourg Country: Luxembourg Req Date: 27-Jul-2005 An excellent opportunity for an ambitious New Media Attorney in a challenging and rewarding environment. The position will be focused on providing full legal support for iTunes S.a.r.l., which operates the iTunes Music Store throughout Europe. The preferred candidate will have at least 3-7 years of hands on experience in the new media industry, with an emphasis on licensing, promotion agreements, copyrights, trademarks, publicity, e-commerce and general corporate law in Europe. Prior label or major publisher experience, and knowledge of the music business and international copyright laws, particularly in Europe, are a plus. Strong fluency in both written and spoken English and French, and preferably at least one additional major European language (e.g., German), including legal terminology, is required. Responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating agreements for all aspects of the business, analysis of complex legal issues, advising all levels of management, assisting developing business strategies, managing outside counsel, coordinating with other Apple in-house counsel on international issues, and assisting resolving occasional third party disputes. This position will require exceptional judgment, strong organizational skills, effective communication with all levels of management, and the ability to work under deadline and provide significant individual contributions while working as part of a diverse exceptional team.
